It’s a privilege to work with our clients here at Shelley Park – enabling and supporting them to engage in music work, as part of their rehab journey. Through music I can see and hear people developing and re-connecting with others and their environment. It motivates, stimulates and supports expression and creativity.

Registered Nurse

Registered Nurses are pivotal to our residents’ day-to-day enjoyment of a dignified and fulfilling life. Nursing at our home is dynamic and fast paced; no two days are the same. We've created environments within our care home where you can take the initiative and lead using your excellent clinical skills and knowledge to deliver the highest standards of nursing and person centred care, whilst respecting residents’ independence and choice.

Our Nurses take responsibility for care planning, drug administration and consistently meeting our own high standards and those of our external regulators. Nurses also supervise the appraisal and development of our Senior Care Leads, Healthcare Assistants, student Nurses and other care staff. Respecting confidentiality, you will have regular, sensitive contact with residents’ families and friends as well as with other health professionals. As a member of our professional team you will have the opportunity to use your experience and knowledge of evidence based practice in a rewarding and exciting specialist field.

Your ability to plan and to evaluate nursing care will be essential in leading and supervising others in the Care team and also in actively contributing to our multi-disciplined approach.

You will be a qualified Registered Nurse RGN with a current NMC registration (PIN) who is able to demonstrate how you have proactively updated your knowledge and skills.

You are friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator and you'll share our goal of delivering excellence in person centred care. Whether newly qualified or more experienced, we have great career prospects for you.
